VILMA KUTAVIČIŪTĖ / Akvilė
Vilma Kutavičiūtė, 21, began her acting studies in the Lithuanian Music and Theatre Academy (LMTA), but later the same year undertook acting courses in St-Petersburg State Theatre Arts Academy for 3 months. Afterward, she gained entry to the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts (GITIS), the oldest and largest theatre school in Russia, founded in 1878. Vilma Kutavičiūtė has already starred in two of Romas Zabarauskas’ short films, “Julija and Marius” and “I’m seventeen”.
MARIUS REPŠYS / Jonas
Marius Repšys, 25, is currently studying in the Master program for acting at the Lithuanian Music and Theatre Academy (LMTA), under director Gintaras Varnas, one of Lithuania’s most respected theatre directors. Marius Repšys starred in many student films, one of them, “The Suicide”, winning the national film award “Sidabrinė Gervė” (Silver Crane) for the best student film in 2009. He doesn’t fit the actor’s cliché in any sense – married, he lives calm domestic live, teaches Asian martial arts and paints in his free time.
KURTIS / Matas
Kurtis, 27, is the only non professional actor of “Porno Melodrama”, trained as an IT expert. He prefers to keep most of his personal life private. For financial and social reasons, Kurtis immigrated to London for several years but recently returned to Lithuania. Having no professional acting experience, Kurtis’ dream to become an actor is closer than ever.
